An original Australian sea lion photograph by Tom Cannon, captured at Jurien Bay, Western Australia.
While snorkelling off a small island home to a sea lion colony, I was approached by this young pup. It seemed as fascinated by me as I was by it, dancing playfully around me.
Then it disappeared and returned with a large piece of seaweed in its mouth. We played tug of war for the next five minutes while I used my other hand to position my camera and capture this moment.
