An original manta ray photograph by Tom Cannon, captured on Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia.
With food abundant, several manta rays fed close to the ocean floor. A game of chicken unfolded right in front of my lens, with the dark manta above giving way to the manta below.
Add a collection of juvenile golden trevally, and the scene became a moment of pure Ningaloo magic.
